Mitchell's closest friend Angela 15, who was fifteen years old at the time of her fatal accident in the vehicle was also a writer about the event. Mitchell discovered this to be incredibly hard and Angela was the source of inspiration for her song Angel the song, which is on Mitchell's debut album.
